Custom Chart Prices |
The price of Maxbal Custom Charts is based on the size of the chart,
the media it is printed on and whether it is printed in full colour or
in single colour black.
We do not charge you any extra
for printing additional graphics, photographs or other information on
your chart.
The size of your chart is governed by the number of individuals and the
amount of information that you want to display about them. Where
possible we will fit your chart to a standard paper size for which prices are
shown in the table below.
If you have a particular size that you want for your chart just let us
know what it is.
We can design and print your chart from any of the popular genealogy programs
or from a GEDCOM file which you can generate from your Genealogy
software. But don't worry if you don't use a genealogy programme because
we can take your information in written format and do the data entry for
you. We charge £25 per 50 individuals entered and we will send you a
GEDCOM file which you can use to start off your family tree database.
For charts that will not fit to a standard size we can print your custom
chart up to
60 inches in one direction and virtually any length in the other. Just
send us your information and we will design the chart, send you a proof
and tell you how much it will cost.
We provide a risk free service - you do not pay anything for the design
of your Custom
Chart until you are totally satisfied with it and approve it for
printing.

N.B. When stretched and mounted the display area of canvas charts will
be approx 10 cm smaller than the printed size allowing for the print to
extend to the wrapped sides.
The prices include chart design and printing. We design and print your
chart from any of the popular genealogy programs or from a GEDCOM file
which you can generate from your Genealogy software. But don't worry if
you don't use a genealogy programme because we can take your information
in written format and do the data entry for you. The only additional
costs of your chart are delivery and transcribing your data. There are
no transcription costs if the data is supplied as a genealogy program or
as a GEDCOM file.
The charge for transcribing your data is £25 per 50 individuals and we
will send you the GEDCOM file which you can use to start off your own
family tree database. The transcription charge is the only cost that we
ask you to pay when you place your order.
We offer you a completely risk free service in that we do not ask for
payment up front for chart design. We will work with you through the
design process to ensure that you get exactly what you want. You receive
full size drafts in pdf format for your approval along with costs and
you only make payment once you approve the final design for print.
Important
Your Information For A Custom Designed Chart
- We use your information exactly as you send it to us. We do not check
the spelling, punctuation, correct capitalisation, consistency of place
names, dates etc. or the accuracy of dates. You should therefore check
your information and correct any errors before sending it to us. If,
after seeing the initial proof, you ask us to make corrections to the
information that you have supplied we will make a charge for the extra
work at £12.50 per half an hour. We will inform you what the charge will
be before carrying out any amendments and sending another proof to you.
Chart Design Changes - If, after seeing
the initial proof, you require changes to the basic chart design i.e.
fonts used, colours and background there is no charge. We will make the
amendments and send another proof. If you subsequently request changes
then we reserve the right to make a charge for the extra work at £12.50
per half an hour. We will inform you if there is a charge and what it
will be before carrying out any changes and sending another proof to
you.
